Meet Our Doctor
A big hello to all my friends, patients and soon to be acquaintances. I would like to humbly introduce myself so that all my patients may get a sense of my backround and who i am as a clinician, as well as outside my profession! My name is Dr Ahmed Makada, I graduated as a dentist from the University of the
Witwatersrand, whereafter I worked in a busy, public dental facility in
Bethlehem, Free State. I then came back to KZN and worked at a corporate healtcare facility called Intercare for 3 years, within that time i took it upon myself to upgrade my dental capabilities and did my Orthodontics and Implantalogy courses. And now here i find myself in the beautiful town of Howick. I spotted the perfect space for my practice and put all my efforts into everything within its shell. I physically put together the entire practice on my own. I quite enjoy being a handyman, but also just wanted to give my business all of my efforts so that my patients have a sense of "HOME" in a clinical setting. Having just opened my doors, i am so excited to offer my services to the people within the howick community and outskirts. I am a firm believer in keeping my business patient driven and commit myself to serve my patients in a holistic and comprehensive approach to ensure my patients get the best dental experience and treatment outcome.
Other than teeth, there is more to my life as you might have guessed. I am a father to the most beautiful little girl and married to the most gorgeous woman alive. I forever want to do the best for my family. Being new to Howick, I definitely plan on going on a few adventures as I do enjoy hiking ,cycling and the beautiful scenery! I so look forward to meeting and treating all existing and new patients ! As my wife always says "smiles for miles".
